You

Full Time

If you are a full-time employee scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week, you are eligible for the full range of company benefits.

Part Time

If you are scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week, you are eligible for:

Your Dependents

You may enroll your eligible dependents in many of the same plans you choose for yourself. Eligible dependents include:

  • Your legal spouse
  • Your eligible children, including natural, adopted, and stepchildren:
    • Medical: Up to age 26
    • Dental & Vision — TEP Union 1116 (Classified): Up to age 23
    • Dental & Vision — Non-Union & all other unions: Up to age 26
    • Voluntary Life & AD&D: Up to age 26
    • Accident & Critical Illness: Up to age 26

Exceptions to age-out rules on medical and child life insurance for disabled dependents can be made by going directly to BCBS of AZ or The Hartford, respectively. Open a Workday Help Case if you have questions about this process.

I need to make a change

When You Can Enroll or Change Your Benefits

Your benefit choices remain in effect for the entire plan year. You have three opportunities to enroll in or make changes to your benefits:

  • Within 31 days of hire
  • During annual Open Enrollment
  • Within 31 days of a qualifying life event (QLE), such as:
    • Getting married, divorced, or legally separated
    • Having or adopting a baby
    • Losing or gaining health coverage (for yourself or your dependents)

How to Enroll

Enrolling in your benefits is easy when you take one step at a time. Review your options, choose the coverage that best fits your needs, complete your enrollment in Workday, and confirm your selections. Use the checklist below to make sure you don’t miss any important steps.

Complete Your Enrollment in Four Steps

  • Explore your benefits. Use this site to compare your benefit options, understand your coverage, and find plan documents and resources.
  • Consider your needs. Think about the coverage that’s right for you and your family. Review your health care needs, compare plan costs, and use the available calculators to estimate your expenses.
  • Enroll. Complete your benefit elections as a new hire or during Open Enrollment using Workday. You must submit your event for your changes to be captured.
  • Review your confirmation. After you enroll, carefully review your confirmation statement to ensure your elections and dependent information are accurate. Print a copy for your records.

Enrollment Checklist

Before you finish, make sure you:

  • Review all your benefit options
  • Select or confirm your medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Choose any additional benefits (HSA, FSA, voluntary)
  • Add your dependents, if applicable
  • Update your beneficiaries, if needed
  • Submit your enrollment via Workday
