TEP offers various defined benefit retirement plans (pension plans). TEP funds these plans without any contribution by the employee. Eligible employees automatically become plan participants on the date that they meet the applicable eligibility criteria. Vesting (when the employee has a right to the entire amount of money in the account) occurs after five years of credited service, and the amount of an employee’s benefit is determined by the length of their credited service.
